Design online

Interiors expert Eoin Lyons and designer Grania Murray are now offering an online decoration service.
It is in direct response to the needs of those who require design input but do not wish to engage a designer on a project management or long term basis. They simply need some direction regarding layout, furniture, fabrics, colour and the other elements that combine to make any room comfortable.

We came up with the idea when the economy began trending downwards. Design Online is an addition to the full scale service that we also supply.
For a flat fee of €295, we will create a master plan on line. This will include suggestions and follow up aftercare. There are no budgets, fees and mark-ups - just a creative design plan.
For those who have used our services already, it has provided access to expertise they could not have obtained otherwise. For example, one of our clients Gillian Burrows says, “It was like having really great friends with fabulous style who were willing to share their thoughts and ideas about my rooms in great detail”. Gillian used the Design Online service for her home in Kilkenny as well as a holiday home in the Algarve.

Grania Murray set up her design company in Ballsbridge, Dublin in the early nineties following a career in the financial sector. She then embarked on the renovation and sale of a number of exclusive homes in South Dublin. Initially specialising in the residential area she moved on to work on several high profile commercial projects. Clients return to work with her again and again and constantly recommend her. Grania also currently works as a design consulatant for Roche Bobois.

Eoin Lyons is an interiors expert, journalist and author. He studied graphic design at the college of Marketing and Design in Mountjoy Square. Eoin began writing for The Irish Times in 2001, covering fashion before focusing on interiors for five years. He has since gone on to contribute to publications such as Image Interiors, The Gloss, The Dubliner, House & Garden UK, Living Etc. and The Sunday Times Style. Eoin has published two books on interior decorating: Style Source Ireland and Home Comforts.

He undertakes decoration and renovation jobs in conjunction with designer Grania Murray. They tackle projects both large and small.
